I love this series and was having trouble collecting the original release of manga. These perfect editions are wonderful for getting me the whole series finally, and they look terrific. I'll be pre-ordering the rest as soon as possible.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT AND SERVICE
I love these two book editions of Monster. They're a great value and since the series is long I can never find all of the books in order. This is a very intense story with many plot twists and turns. Far as I'm concerned there's never a dull moment. Naomi Urasawa is great at drawing out action, facial expressions and scary, suspenseful moments. I highly recommend this series to anyone who loves a good mystery tale.
I've long said that Monster is a book that does a great job of building up side characters and filling out time until the next plot revelation. Volume 7 continues this trend, bringing in 4-6 new side characters who may or may not be important for the rest of the series, but still provided some amusement while they were on page. But this late in the series, I'm getting sick of being strung along.I can't really say that anything of major importance happened in this collection. Tenma dealt with being arrested, but nothing more, Eva is still trying to figure out what she wants to do. Nina is still stuck trying to get all her memories back. Johan is still mysterious and horrifying. Lunge is still simultaneously one step ahead of and behind everyone else in figuring out what happened. There's not a whole lot of this story yet, and it needs to quit stalling.
Well, here we are on the seventh book and this story continues to innovate and surprise. This really should have been made into a TV show by now. The characters are great, and the way the story weaves in and out and brings back earlier plot points and people (the ex-wife is back!) is astounding.You can tell the creator of this manga is a veteran. These are very complex things he is pulling off without apparent effort. I wonder how much in advance Urasawa had to plan out this story? It doesn’t seem like the kind of thing you can make up as you go along. Only two books left and I can’t wait to find out how it will end, I continue to suspect tragedy.
